The childcare program at Easterseals North Texas is now open in Carrollton. We have a beautiful new space where children, ages 6 weeks – 6 years learn in a fun, safe, and happy setting. Our teachers create a welcoming environment where our kids build important foundational skills that help them be successful in school. We emphasize not only academic skills but also communication skills, friendship building, problem solving skills, and independence.

Our staff members are specially trained in teaching those skills, with hands on involvement and supervision from former elementary school teachers and Master’s-level individuals. We use state recommended curricula to prepare students for success in kindergarten. Our 1:4 staff to student ratio creates specialized attention, conducive to working on those skills.

We are currently enrolling for all four classrooms:

Koalas’ Treehouse
(6 weeks-17 months)
Our trusted and loving staff members are sensitive to the individual needs and routines of infants. We support exploration and learning in a safe, caring environment.

Doggies’ Den

(18-35 months)
Our staff provides toddlers warm, nurturing care and uses thematic activities to promote socialization and exploration in a fun and stimulating environment.

Turtles’ Cove

(3-4 years)
Children participate in more hands-on activities that build self-image, independence, and a child’s ability to make positive choices in a fun, engaging environment.

Armadillos’ Dugout
(4-6 years)
We prepare children for a successful transition from preschool to kindergarten with emphasis on bettering their social, academic and problem-solving skills, while building their life-long love of learning alongside their friends.
